Thomas is the Co-founder and CEO of ContextOS. Formerly, Thomas co-founded SaltStack, where he served as CTO until its acquisition by VMware in 2020. While at SaltStack, he created the open source Salt project and developed other technologies which now power key VMware products. Thomas has built his career advancing secure infrastructure automation across global enterprise and US intelligence organizations.

Alex is the Co-founder COO of ContextOS, bringing more than 20 years of experience in senior product leadership roles at IBM, VMware, Broadcom, Domo, and SaltStack. A retired LT Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and Space Force, Alex has a breadth of experience leading complex operations across various sectors and capacities. Alex received his MBA from UNC Chapel Hill.

Tanner serves as the Chief of Staff at ContextOS, where he oversees product strategy, finance and operations. Formerly, Tanner spent six years in venture capital, where he invested in and supported various enterprise software and infrastructure startups at firms in the Bay Area and Utah. Tanner obtained a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University. Tanner spends his spare time with his wife and children enjoying the outdoors, food, and motorsport.
